Mariaehel Sammis, C.N., M.S.W. has been practicing Clinical Nutrition and Natural Medicine (Naturopathy) since the early 1990’s.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and has completed Master’s level nutritional studies from New York Institute of Technology, received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University, completed numerous advanced certification courses in Naturopathic medicine and is a doctoral candidate and part-time student at the University of Natural Medicine in California.

Ms. Sammis is trained in Computerized Bio-Energetic Assessment (EAV/EDS), Limbic Stress Assessment BioFeedback, Live Blood Cell Microscopy, Advanced Urinanalysis, EMDR, Homeopathy, Metabolic Type Diet Profiling, and various other naturopathic therapies.   
Additional certifications include Certified Aromatherapist and Herbologist from the American Institute of Aromatherapy and Herbal Studies; Reiki, Third Degree Master and a certification in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, assisting challenged youth and their families.

Mariaehel Sammis’ expertise spans twenty years in health care with individuals, couples and families, utilizing numerous healing modalities in her practice.   She is a regular contributor and advisor to various health organizations and websites.
